View and edit an asset
The asset details screen, section by section. Copy or share coordinates, rename, re-observe or retype a position, and see its history.

Tap any pin on the map, or any row in the asset list, to open that asset's details. The screen shows everything recorded about it: where it is, how well it was measured, how it was measured, its attributes, photos and 3D scans. From here you can also fix its name or its position without losing the original measurement.

Actions at the top

Sections
The details screen is a scrolling list. Sections appear only when they have something to show.
Photos
The number of photos, their thumbnails, and Library and Camera buttons to add more. Tap a thumbnail to view, page through or delete photos. On a line or area, tap Capturing vertex first to choose which vertex the photo documents. See Add notes, attributes and photos.
3D scans
Thumbnails of attached 3D captures (tap one to open it) and Add 3D capture, a menu of the capture modes this device supports (Points on LiDAR devices, and Photogrammetry). A capture started here is anchored at this asset's position. On a line or area, the app asks Which vertex? first, and the capture is filed against that vertex. If this device can't capture 3D, the section's footer says why. See 3D capture overview.
Asset
Name, Type, Code, Notes (if any) and Created.
Position (points)
- Latitude and Longitude, in decimal degrees to eight places.
- Easting and Northing, in the zone's unit, when the project has a projected coordinate system.
- Elevation (MSL) and Ellipsoidal height, when the point has a height.
- Ground elevation (terrain) and Δ to terrain, when the 3D site model has been built: the terrain height at this spot and how far the measured height is from it. If the difference is too big for the measurement's quality, a warning reads "Height disagrees with terrain — check antenna/pole height". For phone-GPS points the app notes that phone heights are ±5–15 m and that the 3D view snaps the point to the terrain.
- Copy coordinates puts one line on the clipboard. The button briefly changes to Copied.
- Share point… sends the same line to Messages, Mail or any other app.
The copied line is name, N northing, E easting unit, Z elevation unit, EPSG:code when the project has a projected coordinate system (two decimals, all in the zone's unit; Z is left out if there's no height). Without one it's name, latitude, longitude to eight decimals.
Line or Area
For a line: Vertices, Length and Start (the first vertex's coordinates). For an area: Vertices, Area and Perimeter.
Elevation profile (lines and areas)
When heights are available (from the 3D site model, or measured on every vertex), you get a profile chart with Gain / loss, Max grade, Elevation range, Surface length and Share profile CSV. Otherwise the section offers Build 3D site model. See Measure and elevation profiles.
Quality

Attributes
Every field the asset's type asks for, with its value. A blank required field shows Required — blank; other blank fields show —. If the type's fields have changed since the asset was collected, values under old field names are still listed, by their key, so nothing collected is hidden.
Position history
Appears once a position has been changed. See What the position history shows below.
Positioning detail
The full record of how the position was measured, as captured at that moment. Rows appear only when the source reported them:

"Blank fields were never reported by the source — not zero." A point collected with the phone alone has far fewer rows than one from an RTK receiver.
Delete asset
At the bottom. The app asks Delete [name]? and explains that the position, every observation and any attached captures go with it. This can't be undone.
Edit the name and notes
- Tap Edit at the top right, then Name & notes.
- Change the Name or Notes in the Edit asset sheet.
- Tap Save. Save is greyed out while the name is blank.
Correct a position
A position can be wrong for many reasons: the shot was taken on the wrong mark, a float solution was taken in a hurry, or nobody entered the pole height. You can fix it without deleting the asset. The old position is always kept.
- Tap Edit, then Position… (or Position of a vertex… on a line or area).
- On a line or area, pick the vertex from the Which vertex? list. Each row shows the vertex number, its coordinates, accuracy and source. Only that vertex changes.
- The Edit position sheet shows the position as it is under Now: latitude, longitude, elevation, accuracy and source.
- Under How, choose Re-observe or Type (see below).
- Optionally, fill in Why (kept with the old position). The reason is stored with the history.
Position… is greyed out for imported design features, which aren't measurements.
Re-observe: measure it again
Use this when you can stand on the point again. Under Measure it again you see your live position:
- Replace with this fix saves the current position straight away.
- Average multiple samples… starts a guided average and saves when you finish it.
The new position carries its own accuracy, source and positioning detail, exactly like a fresh collection. This is usually the best fix.
Type: enter coordinates
Use this for a value from a control sheet, datasheet or deed.
- If the project has a projected coordinate system, choose Lat/Lon or N/E (EPSG:…) under Coordinates. N/E is selected by default.
- Enter the values:
- N/E: Northing and Easting in the zone's unit (the labels show it, for example Northing (ftUS)). They're converted to latitude and longitude for the record, and the values you typed are kept in the history with the zone.
- Lat/Lon: Latitude and Longitude in decimal degrees, WGS 84.
- Elevation (MSL, …) in the unit shown: metres when your display units are Meters or Both, feet or US survey feet when you've chosen one of those. Leave it empty for no height.
- Tap Save typed coordinate. It stays greyed out until you've changed something and the values are valid.
If the typed northing and easting land outside the project's zone, the footer turns red and tells you where they landed, so you can check the zone and the unit.
If the change can't be saved, the app says Couldn't save the change and leaves the position as it was.
What the position history shows
Every change to a position adds an entry to the Position history section, newest first. Each entry shows:
- Re-observed or Typed, which vertex (on lines and areas), and when it was changed.
- was …: the coordinates and elevation before the change.
- The old accuracy, source, and the surveyor who made the change.
- The reason, if one was given. For typed grid coordinates, the reason starts with the values that were keyed, for example Typed N/E in EPSG:2227 — N …, E … ftUS.
"Superseded, not deleted — these are the measurements that were actually taken." Old positions are kept with their full accuracy and positioning detail, so a reviewer can always see what was originally measured.
